Steve who?

I just got back from the beach where I totally swam next to a HUGE MANTA RAY!!! I don't know what kind it was. All I know is I had my goggles on my head and I was standing waist deep when this huge dude went by me. At first I was intimidated and then I thought fuck it! It's now or never! put my goggles over my eyes, took a nice deep breath and went under. I came up along side it and it actually slowed down and checked me out. We swam like that until I needed air and then the spell was broken and I went back to the surface. I can't believe I resisted the urge to touch it!

THAT'S TWO IN ONE DAY!! I JUST TOTALLY WENT ON A DATE WITH A RAY!! WAAAAAAAAA!

Side note: I just looked up rays. It was NOT a manta ray and most definitely a sting ray. Holy crap.
