I took my underwater camera out for a test drive yesterday morning and let me tell you friends, I suck. I suck bad. Out of seventy nine pictures, I got four decent ones. Four. And when I say decent, I don't even really mean that. What I mean is I need practice, so I am going to go do that. I am going to do that directly after posting this entry. I have to get good by Monday as I am going diving at Lauderdale by the Sea on Monday and I hear the reef there is intense. I'm so excited!!
Here are the four semi decent shots...
Starting out. SD is unraveling the dive flag with his Hawaiian sling stuck in the sand next to him. I denied the flag so as to have absolutely no restrictions while trying out underwater pictures... what a joke! YEAH!!!

Side Note: Check out the Hawaiian sling if you get a chance. Rather primitive and I personally think it's really neat. Not the easiest way to fish. They have a bunch that have triggers but SD's is totally manual. As it should be I say.
Puffer fish. He was a good size, probably a foot to a foot and a half long. We tried to blow him up by poking him, but that wasn't stressful enough and he just swam away.

SD dving. I don't even think I was aiming the camera at him to be honest but this is better than the other 900 shots that have nothing but the blue green of water showing so yeah...

I am positive there was a fish or anything else that was supposed to be in this pic but I lucked out and got some cool ass red coral and I am telling myself it's not the worst depiction of the ocean floor. Right?

I really wish this one had come out as intended. There is supposed to be a tiny dark neon blue fish on the red coral polyps but either way it's a fantastic shot.
